New Beer on the Block

Launch of Gateway Brewing Company new old style beer

What was the event?

The upscale bar at The Bombay Canteen was all jazzed up for the launch of Indian brewery, Gateway Brewing Company’s home-grown single malt beer – India Pale Ale, A1.

What happened?

The team of GBC (Gateway Brewing Company) announced that they are replacing the easy-drinking and light Summersault Session (also an IPA style) with the hoppy and aggressive A1. Add to it, the new IPA is made to be enjoyed in the winters.

India Pale Ale is a style of beer brewed by the British for their troops during their regime in India. GBC has renewed and revamped the classic style and given it a modern twist as A1. By the way, the beer name isn’t inspired by Formula Racing car F1, but from Lloyd’s Shipping Company, they graded their best ships worthy to sail as A1.

Why you should drink A1 IPA Beer?

A1 is a strong beer with a sweet and citrusy flavour, so if you like a strong chilled beer, sip on it.
